Lyle T. Lachmuth

Hi! And thanks for stopping by. I’m Lyle Lachmuth the author of this blog.

I started writing this blog in the spring of 2003 when I mistakenly thought I had found THE way to end the pain of Fibromyalgia. I wanted to share what I had learned and was learning about dealing with Fibro or FMS (as it is abbreviated).

As I mentioned, I was mistaken, the things I was doing didn’t permanently cure or heal the Fibro. I’ve spent the years, months, weeks, hours, and minutes since then struggling with pain and depression and searching for a lasting cure: for healing.

There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of websites, that proudly proclaim they have THE CURE. Be wary! I’ve found many seeming cures and many strategies for temporary relief but no lasting relief, no permanent cure or healing.

This blog has changed its purpose over the years from being a place that held the answer to a place where I record my experiments, my experiences, my feelings. My hope is the words that I share will at the very least comfort you and may in fact help you find more permanent relief.

In my ‘other’ life I am a coach, consultant, writer, with enduring passions for travel, photography, and when I can make time, painting. You can learn more about my professional practice here.

Namaste!
